Meet the lovely Ruby!
Ruby is about 21 months old and a large shepherd type. She travels well in the car and loves her walks. She is a real water baby too! She’s friendly with other dogs and likes to play with her buddies. She is crate trained and clean indoors.
She is looking for an adult only forever home. She can live as a single dog or with another similar sized, playful dog. She has not been cat tested but we feel she would probably chase them, although she did previously live with a parrot!
Ruby has been returned to us because she made an error of judgment and nipped the postman. We have been assessing her over the last few weeks and have found her to be a lovely girl. Her anxiety around meeting new people has been easily managed with treats and she has proven to be a willing student. This will obviously require ongoing training and management.
As she is a returned dog we will expect prospective owners to make multiple visits before adopting her. She really is a cracking dog and with the right home and training she will no doubt be a wonderful dog. She’s been fantastic at kennels the last few weeks.
