Meet Ringo
Sex: Male
Age: 2 years old
Size: Medium
Meet the wonderful Ringo! 2 year old Ringo has now been back with us for 10 months! We would really love to find him his forever home but despite numerous adverts, he has never had a SINGLE application! It’s a real shame, as to know him is to love him.
During his time with us, we have worked hard on his nervous issues and he is much improved. He is however, a dog that will require ongoing management, particularly around strangers in his home. He will also require several meet and greets before going home with his forever family. This would include several visits to the family home before handover. We would also offer a trial period to make sure that it was right for everybody concerned.
Ideally, Ringo would like to live with another playful but calm dog. It would probably be better if it was a female but he could also live with a well-adjusted, castrated male as he does at the moment.
Ringo's recall has improved however it is still not 100%. Also, because he sometimes makes poor decisions, particularly around entire male dogs, he will probably need to remain on lead on most of his walks. This is not an issue for him however, as he walks beautifully on the lead and travels well in the car.
He would prefer a rural home with fewer visitors or at least room for him to be separated from them if necessary. He cannot live with children at all as he finds them far too scary. He’s okay with dog savvy cats. What his new family would get in return is a lovable goofball, who thoroughly enjoys curling up next to you for a brush or walking with you for long country walks.
If you think you could be the perfect fit for our lovely Ringo, please complete an application form via the link below. You won’t regret it!
