Meet DAVE
Sex - Male neutered
Size - large
Breed - mixed breed
Age - Approx 6yrs old
Can Live with dogs - ✅
Can live with cats - ❌
Can live with children – ✅ (older children 12+yrs)
Dave came into our care after his owners had to surrender him so we could find a more suitable home for him. He is an absolute sweetheart who loves nothing better than to be by your side getting all the attention he can. He’s super funny when he wants a tickle and he’ll either reverse himself to you or fully lean against you for the perfect back scratch.
Dave has settled in nicely at his foster home, he was vocal when in the house for the first couple of days with day to day noises but teaching him a ‘in your bed‘ command has really helped and Dave is barking much less.
Dave is 100% housetrained and loves his food. He will also happily jump into the car and travels great. Dave is good with other dogs he’s been out walking with lots of different dogs of all sorts of breeds and personalities.
Dave is great with people and he would be fine living with children 12yrs +.
Dave is continuing his lead training and he will generally walk great on lead. He has also been on a long line to give him the opportunity to play with other dogs and for some recall training. Dave is generally quite relaxed outside the house and has heard army gun noises, trains and walked along busy roads without any issues. He’s visited pet shops and cafes and did very well.
