Meet Arthur
Sex: Male
Age: 4 Years
Size: Small
Sadly Arthur is looking for a new home due to change in circumstances and is sadly not getting exercised. Arthur is currently in a home with Ava. Arthur is a DWTWR dog who we rehomed 4 years ago. Ava is not a DWTWR dog but we have agreed to try and help find her a home. They are both bonded however on assessing them it’s very clear that they are both anxious and not helping each other’s behaviours therefore to make sure they have a happy life we feel it’s in their best interest to be rehomed separately. If you have experience in the types of issues below and would like to rehome both dogs, it may be considered.
Arthur is 4 years old who came over as a small pup at 4 months old. He is reactive to people and dogs but both dogs set each other off. Arthur loves the people he loves and is very affectionate. Arthur has nipped someone in his home when he was nervous but we feel with correct management and proper exercise, he will be a lovely dog. We keep in regular contact with Arthur’s sister's owner and she is a very well rounded dog and perfect in every way so we do feel his behaviour has been sadly allowed to become out of control due to lack of exercise and guidance. We feel Arthur is best in a single dog home however he may be able to live with a calm female. Both dogs are crate trained and live with cats. Whilst both have met children and have been fine, we would prefer them to be rehomed with teenagers upwards or an adult only home.
We are rehoming both dogs from their existing homes and we will put any potential adopters in touch with the owner however as always we will be completing all of our necessary checks and contracts will apply.
