Amaretto has come such a long way and is finally ready for her very own family!
Amaretto loves her walks and is happy to be stroked but is still nervous at times, however there is no nastiness in her whatsoever. She arrived 5 months ago and spent 3 months at our kennels but she wasn’t really improving so we brought her to Bagshot where she has flourished everyday. Anyone can walk her now. She walks so nicely on a lead, loves other dogs and is absolutely fine with cats. She lives with a 5 year old with no issues but because she can be nervous we would suggest either no children or 1 dog savvy slightly older child.
We don’t want her going to a hectic household as this will be too much for her. She needs a calm environment. She can be left for several hours with no issues. She’s clean and not destructive in anyway. Amaretto is around 6 years old and we’d love her to go with another dog as she loves all dogs and they certainly help her confidence. However, it’s not a must as long as she had doggy friends to walk with. She is still very much a flight risk so you would need a secure garden and a secure home i.e. porch or stair gate in place so she couldn’t run out if you opened the front door. She does settle in the home and loves a snooze! She’s neutered and will make someone the most loving loyal companion.
