Carter is a 6-8 year old neutered male. Carter is a super calm and friendly boy, with such a gentle soul.
Carter walks beautifully on lead and does not pull. He can occasionally bark or growl at other dogs but with some reassurance he’s calms down and socialises nicely. He does however prefer the company of calmer dogs. Carter loves to meet new people and always has to say hello! Due to Carter being an ex racer he does need to be walked with a muzzle as he will give chase to cats/small furries. He happily accepts his muzzle with no issues at all. Because of this, Carter obviously cannot live with cats. Carter loves the car and will happily jump in and sits nicely throughout journeys.
Carter is clean in the house and can be left for short periods / overnight with no mess, noise or destruction. Because Carter is an older boy, he doesn’t require a huge amount of exercise, he likes to get out for a mooch once a day and once he’s back he’ll do his favourite thing … SLEEP! Carter will literally sleep for most of the day. He isn’t fussed at all by visitors in the house with some commenting they didn’t even realise he was there! Carter is an absolute joy to live with, his fosterers could not sing his praises any more if they tried! He just wants to be loved … and sleep! Carter has improved so much at his foster home, he is so much more confident and not to mention put on some much needed weight!
