Welcome to DWTWR
We are Dogs Walk This Way Rescue, a not for profit registered CIC organisation dedicated to improving the lives of abandoned dogs.
Our organisation is run by a team of volunteers local to Bagshot, Surrey and we have lots of fosterers in other UK locations.
Since January 2023 we made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to stop helping dogs abroad and focus on the issue here, in the U.K. We regularly help local dog wardens with stray dogs and work with many local vets. We also help where we can, owner surrendered dogs.
Our aim is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome as many of the these dogs as possible. We have rehomed over 2000 dogs since the organisation was launched, but there is so much more to do.

- Monthly sponsorship packages as below:
- £5.00 Bronze - buys treats for one dog per month
- £10.00 Silver - buys wormer/flea treatment for one dog
- £20.00 Gold - buys food for one dog per month
- £30.00 Platinum - sponsors the kennels each month
- We know times are tight so any regular donation would be so welcome. We can’t offer much in return, aside from the knowledge you are helping to save the lives of mistreated dogs, but we’ll obviously continue to post rehoming and success stories and include your name on the website as a “Sponsor of DWTWR”. For Gold and Platinum we’d welcome a photo of yourself and furry friend to put on the website!
- We have a standing order form that can be used for these donations. Sorry, this isn’t an online facility, but the handling fees from third parties impact us and we really need every penny we can for the dog’s care and rehoming.
