Meet FLORA
Sex: Female
Age: 5 years
Size: small
Flora is sweet, gentle little girl who is approximately 5yrs old and a poodle/terrier mix. She is timid first meeting people but quickly warms up with treats and bonds very rapidly to her favourite person.
She walks well on the lead, and enjoys being out and about. She has been friendly to all dogs she’s met, and although she hasn’t yet properly played with any dogs we can see it’s in there waiting to come out!
Flora is becoming very responsive on walks, and starting to recall well, we’re sure she will be off lead in no time. She hasn’t expressed any interest in people, runners, cyclists or horses whilst out and about, she just walks past and ignores.
Flora is a real foodie, she adores meal times and is always checking in with you on walks for treats.
At home, if everyone is around and in the same room as her, she is good as gold and sleeps a lot. She does however show signs of separation anxiety, especially when her female fosterer leaves the room. So ideally she would be adopted by someone who is around most of the time.
She hasn’t shown any destructive or guarding behaviours in the home, and happily lives with another dog in her foster home.
