Meet CHAMP
Sex: male
Age: 5-6 months
Size: small to medium
Meet Champ, 5.5 month old Champ has been in the UK for about a month whilst we made sure he was fit and well.
The reason for this was that he was picked up at the side of a busy road in Romania as a tiny puppy. He was then unfortunately very poorly with terrible diarrhoea, this caused a prolapse of his bowel. Horrific as it looked, Champ underwent surgery in Romania to correct it. When he arrived with us he was very underweight and needed feeding up. One of our kind adopters took him on as a foster. He is still quite skinny but is growing like a weed and putting on weight at the same time.
He is a really lovely boy, crate trained, travels well in the car, walks nicely on lead and is friendly with people, other dogs and cats. He did show some bowl guarding behaviour whilst in foster but we haven’t seen that here. He’s always fed separately in his crate but will take treats calmly around other dogs without incident.
Champ could live as an only dog or with an older dog who would show him the ropes. He can live with children of all ages.
He is currently residing in Mandy‘s house at our Longcross kennels.
